Dear Chris, Jackie and workers,

I live in Florida full time and I inherited a Lakeview Model in Holiday City South when my Mom passed away. My Mom had most of the house up to date except for the kitchen which had that old 80’s design that was dark, small and outdated. My husband and I looked at many homes that were being renovated in Holiday City, but were always impressed with the quality and design of JackDuke homes. We met with Chris and were immediately impressed with his knowledge of construction and his vision for a new kitchen. I found the kitchen I liked in one of his renovations and handed him the keys to the house with no reservations or fears as we went to Florida for the winter – I knew we were in good hands. The contract spelled out everything in detail along with drawings of the proposed kitchen so I could visualize it. Demo day till completion was 6 weeks! He moved all my furniture, protected the existing hardwood floors and cleaned everything from top to bottom for the big reveal. I knew what it was going to look like, but when I walked through my beautiful new front door for the first time and saw straight through to the gorgeous new kitchen with the beautiful archway, it brought tears to my eyes. I only wish my Mom could have seen this completed before she passed. We eliminated the den and made a huge kitchen with an 8 foot island and a large pantry replacing the double side windows.  It is so bright an airy, lots of nice touches like the pot filler, farm sink, timeless subway tile for the backsplash, pull out sliders in the cabinets, a built in wine rack above the refrigerator, a contained garbage and recycling bin, and new hardwood floors which he perfectly blended into the existing floors. Jackie was such a help when I had trouble picking out pendant lighting to go with my new dining room fixture, it is sensational. I could go on and on. My friends jaw dropped when they walked in and saw the transformation. It has just the right amount of “glam” that makes you say “wow”. It looks like a kitchen you would see on HGTV.  I wish I had that kitchen here in Florida, but for now, I will go to NJ for the summer and enjoy this beautiful transformation.
